Ingredients

  • 300 g cherry tomato (s)
  • 1 small onion (s), white
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 3 tablespoon basil leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar (wine vinegar)
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 4 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt
  • Pepper from the grinder
  • 8 slices ciabatta

Instructions

  1. Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut into small pieces. Peel and dice the onion. Peel the garlic and finely chop two cloves. Mix the tomatoes, onions, chopped garlic and basil with the two types of vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper, season to taste.
  2. Toast the bread slices in the toaster and rub on one side with the remaining cloves of garlic while it is still hot. Arrange on a platter. Spread the tomato mixture on the bread slices and serve immediately.
