Bruschetta with Figs, Ricotta and Arugula

by Editorial Staff

I tried bruschetta in Italy and I really liked it, especially since it can take forever to fantasize about the filling for it. I would love to eat such boutiques for breakfast, but I’m too lazy to cook at 7.00 in the morning, and then I don’t allow myself such high-calorie liberties. Maybe someday I will teach myself how to cook delicious breakfasts at least on weekends and I will enjoy them without prejudice to my figure. Yesterday I cooked this one – Bruschetta with figs, ricotta, and arugula

Ingredients

  • bread
  • olive oil
  • ricotta
  • salt
  • pepper
  • figs
  • basil
  • rosemary
  • arugula
  • maple syrup or honey

Instructions

  1. Everything is simple – cut the bread, grease with olive oil and fry in a pan or bake in the oven, which is much tastier.
  2. Salt, pepper and beat the ricotta with a blender in order to make a one-sided mass.
  3. Spread the bread with ricotta, put figs on top, cut into halves or quarters, sprinkle with basil, rosemary, and arugula, drizzle with olive oil and maple syrup or honey.
  4. That’s all the complications, now you can enjoy the goodies, and don’t forget to make a good cup of coffee!
