Bruschetta with Tomatoes

Delicious Italian appetizer – bruschetta with tomatoes. Cooking is quick and easy, and most importantly, the ingredients can be found in every home.

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • Bread (white) – 4 slices
  • Tomatoes – 2 pcs.
  • Fresh basil – 3-4 leaves
  • Garlic – 0.5 cloves
  • Olive oil – 4 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. To make bruschetta (sandwiches) with tomatoes, we prepare the necessary ingredients. Choosing ripe tomatoes, but not overripe. Finely chop the basil leaves (you can use green or purple basil). Cut the bread into slices 1.5 cm thick.
  2. Wash the tomatoes and cut them into 4 pieces. Remove the pulp and seeds and cut the tomatoes into small cubes. We send the chopped tomatoes to a bowl, salt and add the basil. Season with olive oil. Leave for 15 minutes in a cool place to make the taste more intense. (The filling can also be prepared 2 hours before the snack is prepared.)
  3. Preparing bread. Preheat a frying pan without oil over a heat above medium, dry slices of bread on both sides in a pan to form a crisp.
  4. Rub slices of toasted bread on both sides with half a clove of garlic.
  5. For each piece of bread, spread 1 tablespoon. a spoonful of tomato filling and pour a little with the resulting juice. Tomato bruschetta are ready! Serve until crispy.
