Ingredients

  • 1 kg Brussels sprouts, frozen
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 1 can tomato (s), chunky
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable stock, grained
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

  1. Put the Brussels sprouts in a saucepan. Dice the onion and add to the Brussels sprouts with the tomatoes, sugar, olive oil and vegetable stock. Pour in boiling water until everything is just covered. Do not stir.
  2. Simmer the stew over a medium heat for 30 minutes and season with salt, pepper and paprika.
  3. Very tasty as a main course or as a side dish.
