Buckwheat Cereal Smoothie with Banana, Honey and Cinnamon

Unusual nutritious smoothie porridge with banana, honey, and cinnamon is a great breakfast or a hearty quick snack. The delicate texture of the porridge, the rich taste, and the spicy aroma of cinnamon are a great start to the day!

Cook: 10 minutes

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • Milk – 200 g
  • Buckwheat groats – 100 g
  • Banana – 1 pc.
  • Honey – 1-2 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon – a pinch

Directions

  1. We wash the buckwheat, fill it with water (150 ml) and leave it overnight to swell. If you pour boiling water over the cereal, it will cook much faster. After the buckwheat swells, discard it in a colander. Such buckwheat is already completely ready for use.
  2. Peel the banana and cut it into arbitrary pieces. Put buckwheat, banana, honey, in the glass of the blender and pour in the milk. Grind the contents with an immersion blender until pureed.
  3. Pour the finished buckwheat smoothie with banana and honey into glasses and sprinkle with cinnamon.
