Ingredients

  • 6 wheat tortilla (s)
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed or beef
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 2 small bell peppers
  • 1 onion (s), chopped
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • Chili powder, or chili flakes
  • salt and pepper
  • sugar
  • 200 g cheese, rated

Instructions

  1. Fry the minced meat in oil in a large pan and season with pepper, salt and chilli. Cut the peppers, chop the onion and add. Cover the pan with the lid and cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Drain the beans and corn. Preheat the wheat tortillas in the oven for 8-10 minutes.
  3. Add the beans and corn to the pan and enough tomato paste to make everything take on a slightly reddish color (approx. 1 tablespoon). Sprinkle a pinch of sugar on top, fry a little more.
  4. Sprinkle the tortillas with a little cheese and add the filling, not too much filling, otherwise the dough can no longer be rolled up properly or everything will fall out.
