Instructions

  1. Peel the carrots or brush them well with the vegetable brush. Cut into not too thin slices, halve if necessary and then cut into slices.
  2. Melt the butter, add the carrots and honey. Then put the lid on the pot and cook it closed on the lowest setting. So the carrots can cook in their own juice and you don`t have to add water, it is much more aromatic.
  3. As a variant with more calories, 1 spoon of crème fraiche also tastes very tasty when mixed in at the end.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
