Instructions

  1. Wash and clean the beans. Cut diagonally into pieces and cook in boiling salted water for about 13-15 minutes until firm to the bite. Pour off and set aside.
  2. Then peel the potatoes while they are cooking and then cook for about 20 minutes. Mash the cooked potatoes into a puree and gradually stir in the buttermilk. Add the cream and carefully season with salt. Gently heat the whole thing and add the green beans.
  3. When the soup is well drawn, it tastes best.
  4. Tip: To spice it up you can sprinkle finely diced, raw onions.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
