Ingredients

  • 800 g potato (s)
  • 300 g jacket potato (s)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 125 ml buttermilk
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds, or less
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Black ground pepper
  • 100 g bacon, fried bacon in cubes until crispy
  • 50 g clarified butter, for fryin

Instructions

  1. Finely grate the peeled raw and jacket potatoes and mix together.
  2. Mix the chopped onion and clove of garlic with the buttermilk and add the spices. Fold in the crispy fried bacon cubes. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, form portion-sized patties and fry them at 180 degrees with the fan for about 1 hour until crispy brown.
