Cabbage casserole with cheese turns out to be hearty and delicious. In general, casseroles are a lot of creative. For a casserole, you can use any food in the refrigerator and prepare a delicious dinner. And a casserole in a slow cooker is quite simple to prepare.

Cook: 1 hour 25 minutes

Servings: 5

Ingredients

  • White cabbage – 400 g
  • Sausages (you can use sausage, minced meat, bacon) – 200 g
  • Dutch cheese (or any other) – 150 g
  • Milk – 300 ml
  • Dried white bread (or white breadcrumbs) – 100 g (soak the crackers in milk)
  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
  • Dill greens – to taste

Directions

  1. Chop the cabbage, finely chop the sausages. Fry the sausages on the “baking” mode for 20 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Add cabbage to the sausages and cook for another 20 minutes on the “baking” mode.
  3. Soak the crackers in milk, then beat with a blender with eggs. Add grated cheese, salt, pepper, chopped dill to the milk mixture and stir.
  4. Pour this mixture over cabbage with sausages, stir and set the “baking” mode for 40 minutes. After 40 minutes, if the cabbage casserole in the slow cooker has set well, you can turn it over and set the “baking” mode for another 20 minutes. And you can not turn it over, but put it initially on the “baking” for 60 minutes.
  5. If you don’t have a slow cooker, cook the cabbage casserole with cheese in the oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
  6. Place the cooked casserole on a plate, browned side up. You can serve cabbage casserole with cheese with sour cream, but it is juicy and tasty anyway.

Bon appetit and good mood!
