Ingredients

  • 8 slices puff pastry (frozen), 2 per serving
  • 100 g cooked ham
  • 100 g salami
  • 1 bell pepper (s)
  • 150 g cheese, rated
  • oregano
  • 1 egg yolk
  • some tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • some tomato (s)
  • garlic

Instructions

  1. Let the leaves thaw. Pierce with a fork and let rest a little. Then place the puff pastry on a baking sheet or baking paper that has been rinsed with cold water.
  2. In the meantime, cut the peppers, tomatoes, ham and salami into cubes. Mix these ingredients together and season with the spices. Then grate the cheese and set aside.
  3. Now brush the puff pastry with tomato paste - leave a border of approx. 1 cm. Then spread the mixture of peppers, tomatoes, ham and salami on the dough. Finally sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
  4. Then the edge of the puff pastry is moistened and the second piece of dough is placed on top, pressed down and coated with the whisked egg yolk. Bake in a preheated oven at approx. 200 ° C for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
