Canapes with Liver Pate and Melted Cheese

by Editorial Staff

Today I will share a simple recipe for canapes with liver pâté and melted cheese, which is perfect for a regular breakfast or a festive feast. Cook to your health!

Ingredients

  • Toast bread (2 types) – 15-18 pcs.
  • Liver pate – 150 g
  • Processed cheese – 2 pcs.
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Mayonnaise – 3-4 tbsp
  • Dill greens – for decoration

Directions

  1. Pass the garlic and processed cheese through a fine grater. Add mayonnaise (a couple of tablespoons) and mix well. The second filling is ready. Cut off the crusts from slices of bread – they will make excellent croutons.
  2. Alternating bread and filling, assemble a sandwich from three slices of bread. Spread the pate on a slice of white bread. We cover other bread (with seeds). Now apply a layer of cheese spread.
  3. Cover with a slice of white bread. Thus, we form all the sandwiches. We leave the resulting blanks for 10 minutes under a small load.
  4. When the sandwiches with liver pâté and melted cheese stand up, coat the edges with mayonnaise and sprinkle with finely chopped dill – you will get huge sandwiches for breakfast.
  5. Or we cut each sandwich into four small canapes. We decorate the edges in the same way as in the previous version – with mayonnaise and dill. We stick in the skewers and serve already to the festive table. Bon Appetit!
