Canapes with Smoked Salmon

Make easy sandwiches for guests. The spicy herb tarragon (aka tarragon) will give the canapes their own special aroma and piquant taste, which will become more distinct with lemon juice.

Ingredients

  • Low-fat cream cheese – 115 g
  • Fresh tarragon (finely chopped greens) – 1 tbsp
  • Grated lemon zest – 1 teaspoon.
  • Fresh lemon juice – 1 teaspoon.
  • Salt pepper
  • Rye bread – 6 slices
  • Smoked salmon – 115 g

Directions

  1. Combine cream cheese, tarragon, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Cut the bread (without crust) into squares (24 pcs.). Slice the fish thinly. Brush pieces of bread with the prepared mixture (1 teaspoon each). Top with salmon and garnish with whole tarragon leaves.
