Canned Fish and Artichoke Appetizer

Ingredients

  • Belgian endive salad – 2 heads of cabbage (or other lettuce)
  • Canned fish (mackerel in oil, salmon, etc.) – 150 g
  • Artichokes in oil – 150 g
  • Mayonnaise – 2 tablespoons
  • Dill
  • Ground black pepper

How to make a canned fish snack:

Directions

  1. Drain the oil from canned fish (I have mackerel). Mash the fish with a fork.
  2. Remove excess oil from artichokes and chop with a knife.
  3. Combine fish, artichokes, mayonnaise, and chopped dill. Pepper, stir until smooth.
  4. Disassemble the salad (I have Belgian endive) into boat leaves. Rinse and dry. Fill lettuce leaves with a prepared canned fish appetizer.
