Ingredients

  • 1 kg pumpkin (s), peeled and diced
  • 50 g iner, peeled and finely chopped
  • 200 g honey
  • 0.75 liter ¾ vinegar
  • 0.5 liter ½ water
  • 5 hot peppers, cut into small pieces
  • 2 onion (s), cut into rings
  • Pinch nutmeg
  • some sugar
  • Pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Peeled and diced pumpkin with onion rings, chili peppers and ginger spread over the cooked glasses (fill them up really well).
  2. Bring the vinegar / water mixture to the boil. Dissolve honey in it and season with nutmeg, salt and sugar, depending on your taste, sweet and sour. Pour the boiling stock into the glasses to the brim. Screw on the lid tightly and turn it upside down and let it cool down.
  3. To eat just like that or as an addition to game or pan-fried meat
