Canned Tuna Pasta Salad

Even a hungry schoolboy who knows how to cook pasta can handle such a simple recipe. From an ordinary set of products in just 15 minutes, he can prepare a delicious and satisfying cold salad.

Ingredients

  • Fusilli – 300 Grams (pasta, spirals)
  • Cherry Tomato – 200 Grams
  • Shallots – 1 Piece
  • Lemon juice – 1
  • Olive oil – 5 tbsp
  • Salt – To taste
  • Ground black pepper – To taste
  • Arugula – 10 Grams
  • Basil – 10-12 Pieces
  • Tuna – 190 Grams (canned in its own juice)

Directions

  1. Wash and dry tomatoes, onions and herbs. Peel the onion. Throw the tuna on a sieve, let the excess liquid drain, mash with a fork.
  2. Boil fusilli in boiling salted water according to the instructions on the package. Throw in a colander.
  3. Cut the cherry tomatoes into halves or quarters, the onion into thin half rings. In a deep bowl, combine the fusilli, tomatoes, and onions. Combine lemon juice, vegetable oil, season salad.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Let stand for 5 minutes.
  5. Add arugula, basil and tuna and stir.
