Instructions

  1. Peel the carrots and kohlrabi and cut into pieces of about the same size. Heat some oil in a saucepan and sweat the vegetable pieces with a little salt and sugar. Add the butter and melt it. Dust the vegetables with the flour, stir until no more flour can be seen and deglaze with the vegetable stock. It should now make a creamy sauce, if necessary add vegetable stock. Simmer for about 10-15 minutes, until the vegetables are still firm to the bite.
  2. We eat the vegetables straight as a main course or as a side dish for patties. Also goes well with fried fish.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
