Carrot-Apple Salad “Health”

I remember this wonderful sweet salad of apples and carrots from childhood – my mother made it for me. And now I am preparing such a carrot and apple salad for my son.

Cook: 15 minutes

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • Carrots – 1 pc. (150-200 g)
  • Apple – 1 pc. (100-150 g)
  • Sour cream – 2-3 tbsp
  • Raisins – 1-2 tbsp
  • Sugar (optional) – to taste

Directions

  1. My raisins, pour boiling water for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Peel carrots, wash, grate on a coarse grater.
  3. Wash the apple, peel from seeds, grate on a coarse grater.
  4. Layout everything in layers. Place the carrots first. Then put the apple on half or two-thirds of the carrots. Put the sour cream on top so that the apple looks out. Sprinkle raisins on the apple-carrot salad.
    If the carrot or apple isn’t very sweet, you can sprinkle sugar on the apple and carrot salad.
