Carrot Roll with Cheese and Herbs Ingredients

  • Carrots – 500 Grams
  • Egg – 3 Pieces
  • Hard cheese – 75 Grams
  • Processed cheese – 150 grams
  • Green Onions – 75 Grams
  • Dill, parsley – 50 grams
  • Butter – 50 grams
  • Vegetable oil – 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • Salt – 0.5 Teaspoons
  • Mayonnaise – 1-1.5 Art. spoons
  • Ground black pepper – 2 Pinches
  • Garlic – 2-3 Cloves (to taste)

Carrot Roll with Cheese and Herbs Instructions

  1. Peel the carrots and rub on a fine or medium grater. Preheat a frying pan with vegetable oil and butter, simmer the carrots until soft, trying to evaporate the liquid as much as possible, but do not fry the carrots.
  2. Let the carrots cool, and we will take care of the herbs. Wash, dry and chop it finely.
  3. Put the carrots in a bowl, add the yolks, salt, pepper and some greens. We mix.

  4. Beat the whites until foamy and add to the carrots. Mix gently.
  5. And mix gently.
  6. Cover the baking sheet with parchment. In an even layer, not less than 6-7 mm thick, spread the carrot mass. And bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
  7. We rub hard and processed cheese on a grater, add the remaining herbs and chopped garlic, mayonnaise to it. We mix.
  8. Transfer the finished carrot layer to cling film, carefully remove the parchment on which it was baked. If it lags badly, you can cover with a wet towel.
  9. And now we spread the cheese filling on the carrot layer in an even layer.

  10. We roll it into a tight roll with the help of a film, wrap it in it. We send it to the refrigerator for at least an hour and a half to two.
  11. Cut the finished roll and serve it to the table.
