Ingredients

  • 200 g cashew nuts
  • 800 ml apple juice
  • 2 tablespoon oil (sunflower oil)
  • sugar
  • Aroma (vanilla)

Instructions

  1. Add the cashew nuts to the apple juice and bring to the boil. Then reduce the heat and simmer gently for about 5 to 10 minutes, until the nuts are softer. Cover and leave to cool for a few hours or overnight.
  2. Lift out the cashew nuts and puree with the oil and as little apple juice as possible (should work with the fork). Then season with sugar and / or the vanilla flavor.
  3. This cream tastes particularly good with fruit salad, but can also be used as a dessert cream or spread.
