  • 600 g beef (strips)
  • 250 g nocchi
  • Salt water
  • 250 ml hollandaise sauce
  • 0.5 ½ pack cheese (Gouda or Edam), grated
  • 1 pinch (s) cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 medium onion (s)
  • some olive oil

Instructions

  1. First peel the onion and then cut it in half and cut into half rings. Now put a little olive oil in a pan and heat it up. Now the meat is added. Sear the meat lightly and season with the salt and cayenne pepper. Be careful, if you don`t like it too spicy, you should dose the cayenne pepper well or choose a milder type of pepper.
  2. After the meat is seasoned and seared, the chopped onion is added. Continue to fry the meat depending on your taste while adding the salted water and heating it. While the meat and onions continue to cook on low heat, add the gnocchi to the hot water.
  3. Now put the roasted meat with the onions in a baking dish. Then add the gnocchi and pour the hollandaise sauce over it. Mix everything well and sprinkle with cheese as you like.
  4. At the same time preheat the oven to 180 ° C (convection). Now put the pan in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes.
