Cauliflower – 500 g
Cream (30-33% fat) – 200 ml
Hard cheese – 150 g
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper – to taste
Vegetable oil (for lubricating the mold) – 1 tbsp
Directions
Disassemble the cauliflower into inflorescences and rinse thoroughly. Preheat the oven to 180-200 degrees.
Pour 1-1.5 liters of water into a saucepan, put on fire, and bring to a boil. Add 1 teaspoon of salt to boiled water and throw in the cabbage inflorescences. Boil it for 5 minutes.
Throw the finished cauliflower on a sieve and dip in ice water. Throw the cooled cabbage on a sieve to drain excess liquid.
Brush a baking dish with a thin layer of vegetable oil and fill the dish with cauliflower. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
Combine grated cheese, heavy cream, and salt and pepper. Stir. Spread the cheese and cream mixture over the cabbage buds.
Bake the cauliflower in cream and cheese in an oven preheated to 180-200 degrees for about 10-15 minutes, until golden brown. Cauliflower baked with cream and cheese is ready.
