  • 0.5 ½ cauliflower
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 100 g cheese, rated
  • Flour
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes in their skins for about 20 minutes, peel them and mash them with a fork or a potato masher. While the potatoes are boiling, wash the cauliflower and cut into florets, cook them in salted water until tender.
  2. Then chop the cauliflower florets a little smaller or mash them with a fork and add to the potatoes. Now fold in the grated cheese, add two eggs and a little flour, so that a well malleable dough is formed. Season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  3. Shape the potato and cauliflower batter into patties and pull them through a beaten egg and breadcrumbs (breadcrumbs like a schnitzel). Fry the medallions in a hot pan with a little oil until they are golden brown.
  4. A delicious hollandaise sauce tastes good with it and then just enjoy it.
