Cauliflower with Béchamel Sauce

- How to cook cauliflower with béchamel sauce:
- Disassemble the cabbage into inflorescences, wash.
- Boil cabbage in salted boiling water (10-15 minutes).
- Place the cabbage in a colander and turn on the oven.
- Prepare the béchamel sauce. Melt 1 tablespoon over low heat. a spoonful of butter.
- Without removing from the heat, add flour little by little, while stirring with a spatula.
- Pour in milk little by little, stirring constantly. (The amount of milk depends on the desired thickness of the sauce.)The sauce should be smooth.
- Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, boil for 5 minutes over low heat. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg. Add a little more butter and stir.
- Put the boiled cabbage in a frying pan with a removable handle (or in a saucepan).
- Cover the cabbage with the béchamel sauce.
- Grate cheese on a fine grater. Then sprinkle the cabbage with grated cheese, drizzle with melted butter.
- Place in an oven preheated to 190-200 degrees, allow to lightly brown in the oven (about 10-15 minutes).
- Cauliflower with béchamel sauce is ready.
- Serve the dish immediately, garnish with fresh herbs.
