Ingredients

  • 2 slices toast
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 1 glass caviar (keta caviar)
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 1 lemon (s)
  • 1 small onion (s), possibly

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil over high heat.
  2. Add the eggs and boil for 10-12 minutes until hard-boiled.
  3. While the eggs cook, toast the bread slices to your desired level of crispness.
  4. Remove the eggs from the water and transfer to ice-cold water to cool completely.
  5. Once cooled, peel and slice the hard-boiled eggs.
  6. Spread crème fraîche on each toast slice.
  7. Layer the sliced eggs on top of the crème fraîche.
  8. Top with caviar.
  9. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over each piece.
  10. Optional: add finely chopped onion on top if desired.
