Ceviche (Fish in Citrus Marinade)

Ceviche is an exotic dish that will appeal to all lovers of pickled fish. The fish will be marinated in citrus juice. Spicy cilantro and hot chili peppers add spice to the dish.

Ingredients

  • Salmon (trout, salmon, chum salmon) – 150 g
  • White fish – 150 g
  • For the marinade:
  • Orange – 0.5 pcs.
  • Lime – 0.5 pcs.
  • Lemon – 0.5 pcs.
  • Chili pepper – 0.5 pcs.
  • Cilantro – 5 branches
  • Green onion – 1 pc.
  • Salt to taste

How to make salmon and whitefish ceviche:

Directions

  1. We cut the fish, remove bones, and cut into cubes.
  2. Squeeze the juice from half a lemon, half an orange, and half a lime. If the lime is small, you can use all of it.
  3. Add chili pieces to the juice, a part of finely chopped cilantro. Let’s salt. Mix everything well.
  4. Pour the fish pieces with prepared citrus juice marinade. Chives, cut diagonally with feathers, and the rest of the cilantro, too, send to the fish.
  5. Let the fish marinate for 15 minutes to 3 hours. This range of time depends on your desire.
