Ingredients

  • 8 bags tea, (chai tea) OR:
  • 6 bags tea, (chai black tea)
  • 200 ml water
  • 200 g suar
Chai Tea Syrup
Chai Tea Syrup

Instructions

  1. Bring the water to the boil, add the tea bag and let it steep for about 15 minutes. Remove the bag and squeeze it out well. Add sugar, stir in well, bring to the boil and boil for about 10-15 minutes, stirring again and again. The syrup must not become too thick because it will become even more solid when it cools down.
  2. Fill the syrup into bottles and close tightly. Lasts about 6 months.
  3. Tip:
  4. Simply pour it into hot milk or hot water and enjoy chai tea straight away. Also tastes good with dessert or in coffee.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
