- Wash the chicken (or duck), chop it into portions.
- Peel the onion, wash, chop finely.
- Put butter in a frying pan. Melt.
- Put the onion in hot oil. Simmer finely chopped onion in butter until transparent over low heat, stirring occasionally (2-3 minutes).
- Add processed, chopped chicken or duck.
- Season with salt and simmer, pouring a little water over low heat under a closed lid (about 30 minutes).
- Wash the peppers and tomatoes. Cut into cubes.
- Add a small amount of paprika, tomato or tomato puree and season with a few drops of lemon vinegar. Simmer for another 10 minutes.
- Before serving, pour the chicken chakhokhbili with sour cream. Mix.
- Everything is ready, you can serve a Caucasian chicken dish.
