  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C; Grease the muffin tray or insert paper liners. Cut the ham into small cubes. Melt the butter. Sift the flour and baking powder into a bowl, mix in the nutmeg, cheese and ham. In a small bowl, mix the egg, milk and cooled butter together well. Carefully fold this mixture into the flour mixture. Pour the mixture into the molds with a tablespoon. Bake the muffins for 15-20 minutes on the middle rack (fan only 180 degrees) until golden brown. Possibly sprinkle a few cheese sprinkles on the muffins after baking for 8 minutes. Remove from the oven and then let rest in the tin for 5 minutes, only then release. Serve - done.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
