Ingredients

  • 1 ciabatta for baking
  • 200 g cheese (Gouda or Maasdammer), sliced
  • 10 chicken nuggets (cheese chicken nuggets, frozen)
  • 1 n.a. Remoulade or mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoon corn kernels from the can

Instructions

  1. First, the ciabatta is baked (note the temperature information on the packaging), but I take it out of the oven 2 - 3 minutes before the end of the baking time, otherwise it could get too hard later after the gratin.
  2. Meanwhile, the nuggets are fried in a pan until they are golden brown. In the meantime, the ciabatta should also be ready. I take this out of the oven to cool down. Turn the oven back to 150 ° C.
  3. Now cut the ciabatta crosswise. The lower half is now thickly coated with tartar sauce or mayonnaise. Spread the corn kernels on top. Now place the fried nuggets on top and spread the cheese on top.
  4. Place in the oven again for approx. 10-15 minutes (depending on how much you want the cheese to melt). Put the top half of the ciabatta on top and the cheese chicken nuggets baguette is ready!
  5. You can of course refine it by adding thin slices of cucumber or tomato after the gratin, as you like.
