For all cheese lovers – a recipe for cheese dough cookies. A wonderful homemade cracker that goes well with tea and beer.
Ingredients
Wheat flour – 250 g
Butter, salted – 150 g
Hard cheese – 100 g
Yolk – 4 pcs.
Directions
Turn on the oven. Put soft butter in a bowl. Separate the yolks from the whites. Add the yolks to a bowl (the proteins are not useful in this recipe).
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
Mash the salted butter, mix it thoroughly with the egg yolks and grated cheese.
Sift and add flour.
Knead the tough dough with your hands.
Roll out the resulting dough in a thin layer, about 1/2 cm thick. Cut out circles, rings, stars, etc. from it with various notches.
Place them on a baking sheet, brush with egg yolk.
Place the baking sheet in the oven on the middle shelf, bake the cheese biscuits in a well-heated oven until golden brown (about 20 minutes at 190 degrees).
