Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 50 g butter
  • 125 g cheese, rated (variety as desired)
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 200 ml milk
  • 1 ½ teaspoon dill, dried
  • 1 onion (s) (peeled & grated)

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease and flour a loaf pan (22 cm x 12 cm x 6 cm). Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees celcius. Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar, cheese, dill and salt in a bowl. Beat the egg in another bowl until frothy. Add the butter, onion and milk. Mix all ingredients carefully. Don`t stir too long. Pour the batter into the mold.
  2. In the oven on a rack on the middle rack
  3. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown. Make garden test.
  4. Let cool on a wire rack for about 5-10 minutes. Then remove it from the mold.
