Instructions

  1. We start with the dip: To do this, the diced onions are steamed translucent together with the garlic in a little oil. Then add the peppers and sear them for about 7 - 8 minutes. Then the vegetables should cool down for about 10 minutes.
  2. When the time comes, the vegetables are pureed with the cream cheese and seasoned with salt, pepper and chili powder.
  3. And then the roll-ups continue. The best way to do this is to remove the rind from the sandwich toast slices so that they can be rolled up better. Then they are pressed flat with a rolling pin, each with a slice of cheese and rolled up. Make sure that the cheese is not cut too thick and too brittle. Thinly sliced Gouda or Cheddar are best.
  4. The roll-ups are then flattened a bit and then fried all around in clarified butter or oil until golden brown.
  5. And our delicious roll-ups with dip are ready. Instead of the dip, tomato soup also tastes great with it!
