Cheese Rolls

Tea snack – puff pastry rolls.

Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • Flour – 1.5 cups
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Salt to taste
  • Water – how much flour will take
  • Margarine – 80 g
  • Cheese – 150-180 g
  • Sesame
  • Egg for smudging

Directions

  1. We prepare the dough as for dumplings or noodles.
  2. Roll into a sausage, cut into large plum-sized pieces.
  3. Roll out one piece as thin as possible, grease with margarine, leave to soak for 15 minutes.
  4. We twist it into a tube and wrap it in a snail. We do the same with the rest of the pieces and send them to the refrigerator for a couple of hours, covered with cling film or a towel.
  5. Then we roll out each snail, again as thin as possible.
  6. Sprinkle with cheese, twist into a tube, grease the cheese rolls with an egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  7. We send the cheese rolls to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 25 minutes. The puff pastry rolls are ready, bon appetit!
