Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 125 g butter or mararine
  • 250 g flour
  • 125 g suar
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Grease for the tin

For the filling:

  • 2 glasses applesauce
  • 6 egg (s)
  • 150 g butter or mararine
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 6 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 kg low-fat quark
  • 5 tablespoon semolina
  • Icing sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Melt fat. Add the flour, sugar, baking powder and egg yolk and knead everything with the dough hook to make crumble. Spread the dough as a base on a greased baking sheet and press down. Spread applesauce evenly on top.
  2. Separate the eggs for the filling. Mix the fat, sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Stir in lemon juice, quark, egg yolk and semolina. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in. Spread the cream on the applesauce.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven (electric stove: 200 ° C, convection 175 ° C, gas stove: level 3) for approx. 45 - 50 minutes. Dust the cake with powdered sugar.
