Cheesecakes Stewed in Sour cream Filling

Delicate and airy cheesecakes will become even tastier if additionally stewed in sweet sour cream sauce. The best breakfast for the whole family!

Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese – 250 g
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Semolina – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Flour (for breading cheese cakes) – 2 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil – for frying
    *
  • To fill:
  • Sour cream 20% – 100 ml
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp

Directions

  1. Put the curd in a bowl. Add egg, 1 tablespoon. a spoonful of sugar and a pinch of salt. Using a fork, knead the cottage cheese with egg, sugar and salt. Add semolina to the curd mass and mix well until completely homogeneous, thick mass. Form small cheesecakes from the curd mass with your hands and roll them in flour on all sides.
  2. Heat a skillet with vegetable oil. Fry the cheese cakes over medium heat for 1.5 minutes on each side. Transfer the fried cheese cakes to another pan (without oil) or a small saucepan. Pour sour cream. Sprinkle with sugar. Heat until the sour cream starts to boil and immediately reduce heat to minimum.
  3. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer the cheesecakes in sour cream for 10 minutes. Cheesecakes stewed in sour cream are ready.
