Ingredients

  • 2 liters cherry juice
  • 1 vanilla pod (s), the pulp it (or small bottle vanilla flavor)
  • 1 dash lemon juice
  • 500 g suar, brown
  • 1 bottle schnapps (grain)
  • 1 bottle amaretto

Instructions

  1. Put the cherry juice, vanilla pulp (alternatively vanilla flavor), lemon juice and the sugar in a large saucepan. Bring to the boil once so that the sugar dissolves nicely. Then let the whole thing cool down well and then mix with the grain and the amaretto. Fill into prepared bottles.
  2. Makes about 4 bottles and can be consumed immediately. The liqueur has a very long shelf life and tastes best chilled, pure or as a mixed drink.
  3. The indicated time is approximate and calculated without the cooling time.
