Ingredients

  • 1 kg sweet cherries, weighed pitted
  • 0.5 kg ½ banana (s), cut into pieces
  • 100 ml kirsch
  • 200 ml lime juice (approx. 3 limes)
  • 200 ml juice (KiBa nectar)
  • 2 packs preserving sugar (: 1)
  • 1 packet citric acid

Instructions

  1. Put the cherries and bananas in a large saucepan and mash them lightly. Add the preserving sugar, citric acid, kirsch, lime juice and KiBa nectar and stir in.
  2. Bring the mixture to the boil while stirring and simmer for about 4 minutes. Do the gel test. Pour the hot jam into jars and close with twist-off lids.
