Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 250 g mararine or butter
  • 200 g suar
  • 250 g flour
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 4 egg (s)

For covering:

  • 0.75 liter ¾ milk
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 2 packs custard powder
  • 600 g sour cream
  • 2 glasses cherry (s)

For the cast:

  • 2 packs cake icing, red
  • 0.5 liter ½ cherry juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 ° C top and bottom heat. Line a deep baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Drain the cherries on a sieve. Collect the juice.
  3. Make a batter from the ingredients for the dough, spread it on the baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes at 190 degrees.
  4. Cook a pudding from the milk with the vanilla pudding powder and the sugar according to the instructions on the packet. Stir 3 cups of sour cream - a total of 600 g - into the warm pudding.
  5. Distribute the mixture on the batter, top with the cherries. Bake for another 15 minutes at 190 degrees. Take the cake out of the oven and let it cool down.
  6. Using 1/2 l of the collected cherry juice and the cake icing powder, make a cake icing according to the instructions on the package and distribute it on the cooled cake.
