Ingredients
Soft butter – 6 tbsp
Sugar – 0.75 cups
Eggs – 1 pcs.
Egg yolk – 1 pc.
Vanilla sugar – 1 teaspoon
Chocolate – 25 g
Flour – 1.25-1.5 cups
Dried cherries – 0.5 cups
Almonds – 0.5 cups
For glaze:
Chocolate – 15 g
Butter – 1.5 teaspoon
Powdered sugar – 0.5 cups
Milk – 1 tbsp
Almond essence – 1/8 teaspoon
Instructions
Melt the chocolate and cool slightly. Cut the almonds into slices.
In a bowl, beat the butter. Add sugar and beat again. Add egg and egg yolk, vanilla. Mix. Add melted chocolate. Add flour gradually. Add almonds and cherries, stir until smooth. Cover and chill the dough for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Cover the baking sheets with parchment. Divide the dough into 2.5 cm balls.
Place the balls of dough on baking trays, 2.5 cm apart. Bake for 10 minutes. Refrigerate.
For the glaze, melt the chocolate and butter, stirring occasionally, over low heat. Remove from heat, add powdered sugar, milk, and almond essence. Mix.
Pour icing over the finished cookies.
