Ingredients

  • 200 g flour
  • 350 grams sugar
  • 280 g butter
  • 60 g cornstarch
  • 125 g nuts, round
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 7 egg (s)
  • 3 tablespoon milk
  • 700 g cherry (s), or (lass sour cherries)
  • 500 g quark (curd cheese)
  • 100 g hazelnuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Stir 200 grams of butter until foamy, add 200 grams of sugar and the salt,
  2. then 3 eggs, flour + baking powder, 30 grams of cornstarch, nuts and milk, spread on a sheet (approx. 30 x 40).
  3. Separate the rest of the eggs, beat the egg whites, the yolks and the rest. Stir sugar until foamy, stir in remaining cornstarch, curd cheese, hazelnuts, then egg whites. Spread the mixture on the dough, sprinkle with cherries, sprinkle the rest of the butter in flakes on top.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven at approx. 170 degrees circulating air for approx. 35 minutes.
