Ingredients

  • 500 g sweet cherries
  • 200 g cream, (cream)
  • 500 g quark, (curd cheese)
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 2 cl syrup, (elder syrup)
  • 3 teaspoons sugar
  • 100 g ladyfiners, (spone finers)
  • Liqueur, (chocolate or coffee liqueur)

Instructions

  1. Stone the sweet cherries (put some aside for garnish).
  2. Beat the top until stiff. Whisk the curd cheese with vanilla sugar, sugar and elder syrup, fold in the stiff cream. Stir in the pitted cherries.
  3. Break the ladyfingers into large pieces.
  4. Prepare small bowls, put a layer of biscuit crumbs at the bottom of each, and spread some liqueur on top. Put a layer of cherry cream on top, some liqueur on top and a cherry on top as a garnish.
  5. Proceed in the same way with all bowls! Let it steep in the refrigerator for about 2 hours!
  6. You can also take larger glasses and arrange them in several layers - crumbs, cream, crumbs and again cream, etc.
