Ingredients

  • Flour – 190 g
  • Light brown sugar – 190 g
  • Baking powder – 1 teaspoon.
  • Soda – 1/2 teaspoon.
  • Cocoa powder – 60 g
  • Butter (softened) – 170 g
  • Medium eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Sour – 140 g
  • Vanilla extract – 1.5 teaspoon

  • For filling:
  • Cherry jam – to taste

  • For glaze:
  • Powdered sugar – 600 grams
  • Butter (softened) – 120 g
  • Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon
    *
  • For decoration:
  • Fresh black cherries – 12 pcs.
  • Chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees. Line 12 muffin molds with paper rosettes.
  2. Pour flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and cocoa into a large bowl and stir. Add softened butter, eggs, sour cream and vanilla extract to this dry mixture, mix well.
  3. Put the dough in prepared molds and put in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the muffins from the oven, let them cool, and then remove from the molds.
  4. Using an apple corer, cut out the center of each muffin and fill with jam.
  5. To prepare the glaze, beat the icing sugar with softened butter and vanilla extract. Using a cooking bag, glaze the jam muffins.
  6. Sprinkle the jam muffins with chocolate chips and garnish with cherries.
