Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and stir in the butter.
  2. Take off the stove and let cool down a bit.
  3. Grease a rectangular shape of approx. 15 x 30 cm or 20 x 20 cm.
  4. Preheat the oven to 190 ° C.
  5. Beat the eggs until frothy, pour in the sugar and beat until creamy.
  6. Add the vanilla flavor, chocolate mixture, flour and cocoa and stir in briefly. Finally fold in the walnuts and fill them into the prepared form.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, until the surface is firm but the inside is still moist! (-> the chopsticks must come out slightly glued!)
  8. Let cool in the mold for at least 20 minutes.
  9. For the frosting, melt the chocolate, then stir in the butter, powdered sugar and cocoa.
  10. Spread on the slightly cooled brownies (you may need to knock them out of the pan beforehand).
  11. Either cut into cubes straight away and enjoy warm or let cool down and cut into 16-20 pieces as desired.
