Ingredients

  • 25 g chia seeds
  • 1 banana (s) or apple
  • 125 g low-fat quark or cottae cheese
  • Cocoa powder, cinnamon or desiccated coconut as desired
  • Sweetener at will
  • Water ad libitum

Instructions

  1. Briefly boil the chia seeds with water in the microwave, use more or less water depending on the desired consistency.
  2. In the meantime, put the fruit with the quark or cottage cheese and a dash of water in the mixer. Then add the mixture to the boiled, swollen chia seeds and sweeten as desired or add coconut crumble, cocoa powder or cinnamon and enjoy.
  3. Since I love porridge more than anything, but have now drastically reduced the carbohydrates, I am looking for low-carbohydrate and high-protein alternatives and am very satisfied with chia seeds as a porridge substitute.
