  • Whole grain bread – 6 thin slices
  • Chicken fillet without skin – about 500 g
  • Bulb onions – 2-3 pcs.
  • Hard cheese – 120 g
  • Sweet red pepper – 0.5 pcs.
  • Sweet yellow pepper – 0.5 pcs.
  • Sweet green pepper – 0.5 pcs.
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Dried Italian herbs – 1 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Olive oil – 1 tbsp

Chicken, Bell Pepper, Onion and Cheese Sandwich Instructions

  1. Wash the chicken fillet and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut the fillets and bell peppers into strips. Peel the onion and cut it into half rings.
  2. Preheat a nonstick skillet over high heat. Fry the fillets in a dry skillet, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
  3. Reduce heat to medium, put pepper, onion, garlic, passed through a press, to the fillet. Pour in dried herbs and ground pepper. Fry, stirring occasionally until vegetables are soft for 5-8 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle fillet with vegetables with grated cheese, cover, and do not turn off the heating for another 1 minute so that the cheese melts.
  5. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet. Bake on both sides for 4-5 minutes.
  6. Shape the sandwiches by placing the prepared filling over the toast.
