Chicken Casserole in the Oven Ingredients

  • Chicken drumsticks – 600 g
  • White bread – 300 g
  • Chicken liver – 200 g
  • Eggs – 6 pcs.
  • Chicken broth – 300 ml
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
  • Green onions – 1 bunch
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

  1. Cut the bread into pieces and place in a bowl. Pour the chicken broth over the bread until covered.
  2. Remove the meat from the chicken drumsticks and chop into pieces. Chop the chicken liver into pieces.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and liver, stirring occasionally for 8-10 minutes until cooked through. Season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Beat the 6 eggs in a bowl until well combined.
  5. Chop the green onions, setting aside some for garnish.
  6. Add the beaten eggs to the bowl with the bread and broth, stirring until evenly combined. Stir in the fried chicken, liver, and chopped green onions until well distributed.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 40 minutes until the casserole is set and lightly golden on top.
  8. Serve the chicken casserole garnished with the reserved green onions.
