Chicken Drumsticks Baked with Potatoes and Cauliflower (in the Sleeve)

by Editorial Staff

Chicken, vegetables, and a minimum of your active time are needed to prepare this recipe. In addition to the standard vegetables for baking with chicken – potatoes, and carrots, there is cauliflower, which makes the dish healthy and interesting. Everything is prepared in its own juice. Chicken drumsticks are very juicy, potatoes – baked, and cauliflower – tender.

Cook: 1 hour 10 mins

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • Chicken drumsticks – 700-800 g (6 pcs.)
  • Potatoes – 600 g (6 pcs.)
  • Cauliflower – 600 g
  • Carrots – 130 g (1 pc.)
  • Garlic – 6 cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Seasoning for chicken – 1 tbsp (to taste)
  • Vegetable oil – 15 ml (1 tablespoon)
  • Parsley (for serving) – 1-2 sprigs

Directions

  1. We prepare the necessary products. We turn on the oven to heat up to 200 degrees.
  2. Peel and rinse potatoes, carrots, and garlic. Cut the potatoes into medium cubes, carrots into semicircles, garlic into small cubes.
  3. We wash the cauliflower and disassemble it into small inflorescences of approximately the same size.
  4. Tie the baking sleeve on one side, place it in a deep baking sheet or baking dish. We send potatoes, carrots, cauliflower, and garlic to the sleeve. Add salt, ground pepper, vegetable oil. Gently shake the sleeve, distributing the spices and oil over the vegetables.
  5. Salt the chicken drumsticks, rub with chicken seasoning. We spread the shins on top of the vegetables and tie the sleeve. If your sleeve has holes along the seam, layout the sleeve with the seam up. If there are no special holes in the sleeve for a steam outlet, then carefully pierce it with a skewer or knife. We send the sleeve with vegetables and chicken into an oven preheated to 200 degrees and bake for 55-60 minutes until cooked (be guided by the characteristics of your oven). If you want to get a golden-brown crust, then 10 minutes before the end of baking, remove the form, carefully cut the sleeve and open it as much as possible, and then return the dish to the oven.
  6. Serve hot chicken drumsticks, baked with potatoes and cauliflower, with fresh herbs, vegetables, or pickles.

Enjoy your meal!
