Ingredients
For barbecue:
Chicken fillet – 450 g
Bacon – 300 g
Yogurt (unflavored) – 200 ml
Garlic – 2 cloves
Fresh parsley – 3-4 sprigs
Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
Ground black pepper – to taste
Vegetable oil (for frying) – 3 tbsp
For the yogurt sauce: Yogurt (unflavored) – 100 ml Mayonnaise – 1 tbsp Olive oil – 1 tbsp Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon Garlic – 1 clove Fresh parsley – 2-3 sprigs Salt – 0.2 teaspoon Ground black pepper (or a mixture of peppers) – 1 pinch
Instructions
Cut the fillets into large 4 x 4 cm pieces.
Prepare the marinade. To do this, rinse the parsley, dry, and chop finely. Chop the garlic on a fine grater or pass through a press.
Combine chicken, yogurt, parsley, and garlic in a bowl, add salt and ground pepper.
Stir and leave the chicken to marinate for 3-4 hours (or better overnight) in the refrigerator.
Make yogurt sauce. To do this, combine yogurt, mayonnaise, and olive oil in a bowl. Finely chop the garlic and parsley and add to a bowl. Squeeze out the lemon juice and stir. The sauce is ready – send it to the refrigerator before serving.
After the marinating time has passed, lightly dry the chicken pieces with a paper towel. Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
Wrap each piece of fillet in a strip of bacon and string 3-4 “rolls” on a wooden skewer. In this way, prepare the skewers from the remaining chicken and bacon.
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and fry the chicken skewers on one side for 3-4 minutes, until the bacon is golden brown.
Then turn the kebabs over and fry for another 2 minutes on the other side.
Transfer the fried kebabs to a baking sheet or in a baking dish and send to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
Chicken fillet kebabs with bacon are ready.
Serve the chicken skewers immediately, adding sauce, fresh herbs, and vegetables.
Juicy meat and bacon complement the yogurt sauce with garlic and herbs. And although this is not a shish kebab on fire, it is also a very tasty and appetizing dish!
