Chicken Fillet Schnitzel

Appetizing chicken schnitzel is a thin layer of breaded chicken fillet, fried in a lot of oil.

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet – 1 pc.
  • Flour – for breading
  • Bread crumbs – for breading
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable oil – for frying

Directions

  1. Cut half of the chicken fillet along the thick part to the thin one, without cutting to the end.
  2. Expand the fillet. Beat lightly with a meat hammer.
  3. Salt and bread in flour.
  4. Then moisten in an egg.
  5. Breaded in breadcrumbs or some other breading (nuts, bread crumbs, corn flakes, etc.).
  6. Fry the chicken schnitzel in heated vegetable oil until golden brown on both sides. To prevent the schnitzel from getting dry and tough, it is important not to overcook the chicken fillet.
  7. Serve chicken fillet schnitzel with fried potatoes, green peas, vegetables, and sauce.
